IF YOU ARE KAITY'S FRIEND READ THIS

Kaity will be home next week and will be back in school.  This has been a long and hard road for her and her family and we are happy that is coming to a new turn.

This will be the start of a new life for her and for you as her friend.  Kaity will have some new rules and so will you, her friend.

Here are the rules:

Rule #1:  NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL

Pretty simple, right?  Here is the deal... if I find that someone that claims to be her friend has given her drugs or alcohol or encouraged her to drink or use drugs I will react instantly and aggressively.  For those of you with a limited vocabulary this means that I will beat your ass severely: man, woman, boy or girl.  If you give my daughter drugs or alcohol I will beat you until I cannot lift my arms.  This is the ONLY WARNING you will receive.

Rule #2:  NO BOYFRIENDS/GIRLFRIENDS

The most difficult time in recovery is the first 6 month to 1 year after release.  Kaity needs to focus on herself and not on silly teenage relationship crap.  Do her and yourself a favor and wait.  If you really want a relationship with her you will understand this.  If you don't understand then you don't deserve her time.

ATTENTION:  IF YOU ARE OVER THE AGE OF 18 READ THE FOLLOWING

Kaitlyn is 15 years old!  If you are an adult and you think it would be fun to have sex with a child, you need to understand that I will hunt you down like an animal and when I find you, you will beg for release in ways that you never imagined.  For those of you with limited vocabulary this means that I will kill you - period!  This is the ONLY WARNING you will receive.

Rule #3:  SCHOOL

Kaity needs to focus on getting good grades and doing her schoolwork.  If you can help, please do.  If you think school is a joke or a waste of time STAY AWAY from Kaity.  She does not need your kind of bullshit.  Go waste you own life!

Rule #4:  SOCIAL TIME/HANGING OUT

If you want to hang out with Kaity this will happen at her house and not yours.  If you have a problem with this then you are not a real friend and you will not be missed.

If you are a boy and you want to hang out with Kaity, you WILL meet me and you WILL NOT be allowed to see her outside out house until you have passed the DAD TEST.  If you have a problem with this then STAY AWAY, it will very likely save you a lot of difficulty.

So far that is all.  I am sure that there will be more as we move forward.  I am looking for people that can support Kaitlyn in her growth and recovery.  I am not looking for people that will drag her down.

We have a list of everyone that has used drugs with her and/or drank or is considered a "negative influence".  If your name is on this list you will receive a call from me and you will have some major hoops to jump through before you will be allowed to be around Kaity.  If you think that you might be on this list feel free to call me (605) 848-0642 and I will be happy to hear what you have to say.  I will keep anything that you say private.  I am not trying to get anyone in trouble, but if you know that you are on this list and you break my rules I will very likely break your neck!

Some of you may think this is harsh or that I am an asshole Dad.  Guess what?  I don't care!

Kaity is my love and my life and I will not stand idly by and watch her destroy her life like she was before.  I will also not allow anyone else to take her down a bad path.  When faced with the choice between your happiness and ours, I will always pick ours!
